PASSIVE VOICE
Regras para a formação da voz passiva:
1) O objeto da voz ativa passa a ser o sueito da passiva
2) O verbo to be aparece na passiva no mesmo tempo da ativa
3) O verbo principal vai para o particípio passado.
4)O sujeito da ativa passa a agente da passiva, geralmente procedido da preposição by.
Exemplos:
My mother makes cakes
Cakes are made by my mother.
They'll give a concert here next week.
A concert will be given here next week.
TEMPOS VERBAIS
Present continuous
John is buying many hats. / Many hats are being bought by John.
Past Continuous
Susan was studying Chemistry. / Chemistry was being studied.
Simple Present
Bob writes poems. / Poems are written by John.
Simple Past
Kelly found a calendar. / A calendar was found.
Simple future
The teacher will prepare the lecture. / The lecture will be prepared.
Immediate future
Samuel is going to call his friends. / His friends are going to be called.
Modal verbs
That horrible boy could drink more tea. / More tea could be drunk.
Present perfect
He has lost his key. / His key has been lost.
Present Perfect Continuous
You have been doing your homework. / Your homework has been done.
Past perfect
She had sold the bike. / The bike had been sold.
